2024 saw the introduction of our new CARE Partnership program. 2025 saw it grow. 2026 brings opportunity to continue to grow bigger and more successful. Businesses and CARE working together to make Cochranton a better place.
This year we will continue our successful Music In The Park program with twelve events! Running March to October in both the Iris Theatre and Lions Park, we continue to being some of the best local acts to the stage.
We will be working with the Borough to put on a Flag Day celebration on June 14th with church in the park, food, kids events, and a concert in the afternoon to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States.
We continue our popular CARE Quarterly Speaker Series where speakers will present local history, helpful medical information, and other interesting topics. The speaker series presentations are preserved on our Cochranton CARE YouYube channel.
The perennial favorite Light Up Night Cochranton will be bigger and better than ever in 2026. We have some ideas!
Work is scheduled to begin this year on a stage for Music In The Park events! Last year we secured a grant and finally completed the restroom renovation in Lions Park. Lions Park has undergone significant improvements since CARE partnered with the Boro to takeover its ownership from the Lions Club.
And we continue to work on new ideas to support our CARE Mission Statement of community planning. beautification, historical preservation, and the advancement of the arts.
